Play2Health Privacy Policy

– Privacy & Security:

We believe in your privacy. Play2Health has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website:

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. Your IP address is used to help identify you and your order.

Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services.

We do not license, sell, rent or trade any collected personal information, including contact information or specific information about your transactions or other personally identifiable information unless:

  1. You request or authorize it;
  2. Information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you; or
  3. The disclosure otherwise is lawfully permitted or requested.

Our site’s registration form requires users to give us contact information (like their name and email address), and demographic information (such as zip code). We use customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about our company and to contact you when necessary. We use information about you to fulfill your requests, provide services, and for other business purposes.

We do not collect information from online guests.

We will not sell, license or transfer personal information we gather from you outside of Play2Health (“Play2Health”) and its affiliated companies, except as necessary to provide you with information, services or products that we offer independently or jointly with others, as required by law or in connection with judicial or governmental proceedings, or in connection with the sale of all or substantially all of Play2Health assets.

Information You Provide Us:

We receive and may store any information you enter on our website or give to our website in any other way. For example, we collect information you provide when you place an order, register with us, send us an e-mail or call us. We do not store your credit card account information. This information may include :

  1. Your name
  2. Your mailing address
  3. Your e-mail address
  4. Your phone number

It may also include any other personal or preference information you provide to us.

Play2Health uses reasonable efforts to protect the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information, including encrypting personal information as it is transmitted between your computer and Play2Health via our website. In addition, employees of Play2Health are subject to confidentiality and compliance policies relating to personal information.

Automatic Information:

We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with our website. For example, we use “cookies” like many other websites. Through “cookies” we obtain information when your web browser accesses our website (see “What are ‘Cookies’ and how do we use them?” section below for details). There are utilities designed to help you visit websites anonymously. Although we cannot provide you with a personalized experience or certain services at our website if we cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these tools exist.

What are “Cookies” and how do we use them?

Cookies are pieces of information that a Web site transfers to an individual’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes while at the site. Cookies make Web-surfing easier by saving your shopping cart, order history, and shipping information. The use of cookies is an industry standard, and you’ll find cookies at most major Web sites. Cookies help make the Play2Health website experience better, by showing how and when guests use the site. Many content improvements and updates are based on such data as total number of visitors and pages viewed. This information is most easily tracked with cookies. A cookie lets Play2Health remember that you’ve registered, which allows us to speed up your future activities on our website. The cookie itself does not contain any personally identifying information.

The “help” portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie or how to disable cookies altogether. However, cookies allow you to take full advantage of some of our website’s best features, so we recommend that you leave them turned on.

Cookies allow us to provide features such as purchasing and storage of items in your Cart between visits.

How to manage your Cookies:

You have the opportunity to set your computer to accept all Cookies, to notify you when a Cookie is issued, or to not receive Cookies at any time. The last of these, of course, means that certain personalized services cannot then be provided to you and accordingly you may not be able to take full advantage of all of the Play2Health features.

Opt Out Options:

If you would like to opt out of receiving any Cookies from our website, please use the help function in your web browser to restrict Cookies.

Lastly, if your existing cookie expires or you clear your cookies for any reason, you will need to follow the steps from the help section of your browser again to opt out any new cookies.

Service Providers

Our website may also share information with companies that provide support services to us (such as a printer, mailing house, analytics or web host). These companies may need information about you in order to perform their functions. These companies are not authorized to use the information we share with them for any other purpose.

Protection of Our Website and Others

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our company. We may disclose information you provide to our website to enforce or apply our Conditions of Use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property or safety of our website, our users or others.

Business Transfers

If some or all of the business assets of our website are sold or transferred, we generally would transfer the corresponding information regarding our guests. We also may retain a copy of that guest information.

If you provide our website with your e-mail address, you may receive e-mails from us. If you do not want to receive marketing or promotional e-mails from us, please email

Most of the other information we collect for mobile, such as your device and hardware IDs and device type, the request type, your carrier, your carrier user ID, the content of your request, and basic usage stats about your device and use of Play2Health’s products and services does not by itself identify you to Play2Health, though it may be unique or consist of or contain information that you consider personal.

If you use location-enabled products and services, such as Google Maps for mobile, you may be sending us location information. This information may reveal your actual location, such as GPS data, or it may not, such as when you submit a partial address to look at a map of the area.

Certain use of our products and services allow you to download and/or personalize the content you receive from us. For these products and services, we will record information about your downloads and preferences, along with any information you provide yourself

Information sharing and onward transfer

All requests must be sent through your mobile carrier’s network and your carrier may have access to it. For information regarding your carrier’s treatment of your information, please consult your carrier’s privacy policies.

We may share your information with certain third parties we use to perform certain functions, such as billing and text message or SMS delivery. These third parties will be required to treat your information in accordance with the applicable Play2Health privacy policies. We may also share some information with your wireless operator in order to perform customer service functions.

Play2Health generally require little or no collection of personal information.  From time to time, however, we may request that a child provide an email address in order to participate in particular activities. We also may ask a child to provide a screen name and password or demographic information, such as gender, birthday, and state of residence.  If a child signs up for one of our contest or utilizes any of the Play2Health social media sites–we may collect photographs and comments from the child.  The Play2Health staff monitors all comments and photos.

We may collect certain information automatically when your child visits the website.  For example, we may collect persistent identifiers, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address; unique identifiers, such as mobile device identification numbers; and customer ID numbers collected through cookies, web beacons, and other technologies.  We may use cookies, web beacons, Local Storage Objects, and similar technologies on our services to facilitate site administration and navigation and to provide an enhanced online experience for our visitors. Through these mechanisms, we may collect the persistent identifiers described above, as well as information about the type of web browser and operating system being used, the pages that a user visits on the Play2Health, and other websites or apps the user visited before visiting Play2Health.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on a user’s computer.  Most web browsers accept cookies automatically, but can be configured not to do so or to notify the user when a cookie is sent.  You can choose to remove cookies through your browser options. However, if you do so, some functionality may be limited. If you wish to disable cookies, please refer to your browser’s help section.  Web beacons are 1×1 single-pixel graphics that may be embedded in web pages or emails. We use web beacons to collect information about advertising and site traffic statistics. Local Storage Objects (sometimes referred to as “Flash Cookies”) are similar to standard cookies except that they can be larger and are downloaded to a computer or mobile device by the Adobe Flash media player. Please note that you may need to take additional steps beyond changing your browser settings to refuse or disable Local Storage Objects and similar technologies.  For example, Local Storage Objects can be controlled through the instructions on Adobe’s Setting Manager page.

Play2Health may use the services of third parties who collect or maintain personal information through the Play2Health offerings.

Parental Consent

We generally do not collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 13 without prior parental consent, except in certain limited cases, which may include the following:

We may collect a parent’s email address in order to provide the parent with notice that his or her child signed up for an account with Play2Health that does not otherwise collect, use, or disclose children’s personal information.  We generally will not use or disclose the email address that we collect except to send the initial notices and subsequent updates about the child’s participation on Play2Health.

  1. From time to time, we may have special online promotions such as sweepstakes and contests on Play2Health that are open for registration by children under the age of 13. In these situations, we may collect online contact information in order to communicate on a one-time basis with a child to inform him or her that he or she has won the sweepstakes or contest. At that point, we may ask the winning child for the online contact information of a parent or guardian so that we can make arrangements to award the prize. We will delete the child’s online contact information and will not use it to re-contact the child or disclose it.  Alternatively, we may ask the child for a parent or guardian’s online contact information so that we can notify the parent or guardian about the child’s participation in a promotion or otherwise seek consent. Any information that is given to us in this circumstance is used only for the purpose of conducting the activity and will be deleted from our system after the promotion has ended or any other legally required period for keeping such information has passed.
  2. The Play2Health staff monitors all Play2Health social media comments and photos, where applicable.  Once uploaded, photos and display names are viewable by visitors to the site and via public search engines.   We may collect a child’s name and contact information to the extent reasonably necessary to protect the security or integrity of the NG Kids Services; to take precautions against liability; to respond to judicial process; or (to the extent permitted by law) to provide information to law enforcement agencies or for an investigation on a matter related to public safety.

We may use persistent identifiers, such as IP addresses and cookie IDs, to support the internal operations of the Play2Health.  We also may allow third parties to collect persistent identifiers to support the internal operations of the Play2Health.  For example, our third-party service providers may collect persistent identifiers to help us with traffic measurement, research, and analytics.

We may otherwise collect personal information from your child as permitted by law.

We may also disclose personal information to third parties when required by law or pertinent to judicial or government investigations or proceedings, when otherwise necessary to protect the Play2Health Services or the safety of our users or any third party, or with a parent/guardian’s consent.  If we sell all or part of our organization, or make a sale or transfer of assets, or are otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, or in the event of bankruptcy, we may transfer your information to one or more third parties as part of that transaction. Your California Privacy Rights

We do not share information that we collect through the NG Kids Services with third parties for the third party’s direct marketing purposes.

Some web browsers may transmit “do-not-track” signals to the websites with which the user communicates.  Because of differences in how web browsers incorporate and activate this feature, it is not always clear whether users intend for these signals to be transmitted, or whether they even are aware of them.  Because there currently is no industry standard concerning what, if anything, websites should do when they receive such signals, we currently do not take action in response to these signals.  If and when a final standard is established and accepted, we will reassess how to respond to these signals.
